That's the only way I know how to describe it. Well, here it is - the special announcement. Sydney has been granted a wish . Today was her wish day and she has wished for a trip on the Mickey boat, otherwise known as a Disney cruise! As great, wonderful, exciting, and totally awesome as it is to be granted a wish like this, I really wish that she did NOT qualify......But it is indeed a blessing. The proverbial "silver lining" and for that I am grateful. I'm overwhelmed at the moment because this brings us back to reality and how serious her disease really is. But I am truly excited for Sydney and this wonderful opportunity that she has.

Congratulations Sydney on your decision! What fun all of you should have. Please know that she forever remains on our hearts and in our prayers. She is just getting so big and is absolutely gorgeous!
So happy that she got her wish granted!
I too suffered from a tumor - a brain tumor removed in 1987 and I am still here. Never stop believing in miracles!! There is no place like Disney to help you believe...

I just found your blog via Room for at least one more. I wanted to let you know y'all are in my prayers. But more than that, my best friend (known as Little on my blog) lived with cancer for @5 years as a child and was also granted a wish to go to Hawaii. Last year I was MOH in here wedding, in Hawaii. She is not wonderful- married and hoping to start a family. I know the situation is different but wanted to let you know that sometimes a wish can be just that....a nice wish come true. Your little girl is beautiful and is in my heart!
I meant to say she is NOW wonderful- oops!
